
The Everett Unified Basketball team earned a thrilling 54-49 road win against Medford, capped off by a buzzer-beater from Michael Abellard (#24) to seal the game.
Michael Abellard (#24) led the team with 18 points, putting on a standout performance filled with energy and clutch shooting. Antwon Bonnet (#15) followed with 10 points, and Richard Gaul (#22) added 14 points, showing strong consistency throughout the matchup. Christian Diaz (#32) scored 4 points, while Ernest Ford (#25) and Alejandro Rivera Solis (#5) each contributed 2 to round out Everett’s balanced scoring effort.

Everett’s teamwork, communication, and hustle made the difference in a tight contest. The team celebrated their well-earned win with excitement and looks forward to keeping the momentum going into their next game.
Senior Isaque De Souza and Junior Tenzin Ghimire helped the Unified Basketball team by assisting and passing the ball around. Their dedicated volunteering help allowed for the team to be able to lead against Medford.
Their season is almost over, with senior night being 2 weeks from now. They have been undefeated this whole season. The Unified Basketball team has worked hard during practices and pre-games, and they plan on being undefeated this whole season.
