Derrick Sands (a.k.a Meliodas — some of his friends call him that) plays on the wrestling team of Everett High. Wrestling is a tough sport but he does his best. Sands felt like it was dangerous to play the sport at first, but after trying it and winning his first match he was excited that he could take down his opponent.

It looks calm and peaceful now, but last week, Everett High was the site of a lockdown that disrupted the end of the school day and felt unsettling for many. Luckily the incident ended safely and without harm as Everett Police worked with school authorities to ensure the safe dismissal of all students and staff.
