Top Five Lunch Blocks Ranked
Third lunch, surprisingly, came in first place. It splits class perfectly in the middle, and it isn’t too late or too early. It has some crowding, but it’s not that bad. All the lunch options are still available, and the cafeteria is relatively clean.
Second lunch came in second place. It’s still relatively clean, and all lunch options are still available. It’s also at a good time, not being right at the beginning, or right at the end. The only downside for second lunch is that the cafeteria is pretty crowded.
First lunch came in third place. Even though students get their food the quickest, and the cafeteria is the cleanest, most feel like it’s too early. It’s like getting a 20 minute break right at the start of a shift. After first lunch, students are left to sit and learn for 90 minutes straight.
Fourth lunch came in fourth place. While the cafeteria still has enough food, and it isn’t all that crowded, students aren’t happy about having to walk up from the first to the fifth floor every other day right after eating a whole meal. Fourth lunch is also the least diverse when it comes to students, being a majority freshman lunch. Waiting until 12:25 for lunch can also be pretty hard some days if a student skipped breakfast.
Fifth lunch came in dead last without much competition. Obviously, it’s the last lunch, starting at 12:48, so students are basically starving in class to make it to lunch. Fifth lunch is also the most crowded, as the fourth floor is one of the more populated floors, with the gym on top of that. If there’s a good special that day, students have to sprint to lunch unless they want to wait in line for the entire lunch. Finally, fifth lunch will usually have less food, and the cafeteria is messy.
