On the side of Broadway, there is one ice cream shop, where you can mix and match whatever you’d like, all different flavors and toppings:  Dairy Maid. 

The store is small and more like an ice cream stand. You walk up to the window and order. It is usually run by two people, one taking orders and one making the order. They have a jar for tips and a credit card iPad where you can give them tips.

There are many different ice cream flavors. You can choose hard or soft-serve ice cream. The soft serve flavors vary from the basics like vanilla, chocolate and strawberry to fun flavors like banana, pistachio and coffee. For hard serve, there are Oreo cookies, moose tracks, mint chocolate chip, maple walnut, chocolate chip cookie dough, coconut, black raspberry, and rum raisin. 

There is also frozen yogurt, varying from vanilla, chocolate, and twist. There is Italian ice in flavors like lemon, watermelon, blue vanilla, mango, strawberry, cherry, orange, and blue raspberry. The sundaes include hot fudge, pineapple, butterscotch, and strawberry. They also have one-size items, including lime rickey, banana frappe, a flurry mixin, brownie sundae, strawberry shortcake, a banana split, freeze, a frappe, float, and an ice cream soda.

There are sodas, including Pepsi, diet Pepsi, root beer, orange, Mountain Dew, and tropical punch.

For the toppings, it includes Oreos, gummy bears, Kit Kat, Reeses Minis, Reese’s Pieces, M&M’s, Fruity Pebbles, chocolate chips, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, brownie and cheesecake bites.

For the soft serve, hard serve, frozen yogurt, and Italian ice, it is $3.25. The sundaes are $4.50. But these are all base prices, they do not include add-ons and size. The one-size items vary from $5.75 to $8.75. 

The toppings are usually free, except for brownie and cheesecake bites, which cost a dollar each. The sodas are also $3.25

Dairy Maid itself is super affordable and it’s fun to mix up different flavors and add new addings.

I usually order a soft serve, I find it to be better than the hard serve. I usually do a flurry mix in with chocolate soft serve ice cream, M&M’s, and chocolate sprinkles. The flavor of the ice cream is insane and makes me rethink all the other ice cream I have had in the past.
