After opening a bowl of Chinese food from Dragon Chef, steam floods the room and the smell wafts into the air. The fresh fried pork rice catches your eyes and immediately pulls you away from the rest of the meal. And to top it off, the boneless ribs, so juicy and tender, sit there waiting for you right next to the crispy and crunchy crab rangoons. If there was any place I would’ve been able to find joy and comfort in food like this, it would definitely be Dragon Chef.
It’s got a very friendly family-casual vibe. I think that it’s great for takeout and on-the-road meals because it’s a great price and they offer delivery and in-person purchases. It feels very homey and small, giving a comfortable and nostalgic vibe to the customers. The best place to feel at home when away from home.

Their pork fried rice is amazing; it’s so rich and full of flavor, especially the pork. They offer substitutions, without meat, with different meats, but pork fried is the best in my opinion. Their boneless ribs are also really great, they’re really juicy, flavorful, and so chewy, but also crispy.
The value of everything is great. They offer good prices for single-food options and good prices for combo meals too. The price range is from $10-20, which is a good and average price for a regular meal, and let’s be honest, better than most of the overpriced food in Everett.
I think that their chicken tenders aren’t as satisfying and appetizing as they would normally taste. It tasted a bit flavorless and looked disproportionate. Similarly, the chicken wings, even with their good size, still taste bland as well. I feel that it’s cooked well enough, but I would need to have something on the side along with the chicken wings to be satisfied with my order.
I would recommend getting their combos if you like having an assortment of many things. Their pork fried rice and three appetizer combos is very good for those who like to have multiple things without eating too much. It offers an amazing portion of rice and a vast menu of sides to choose as your appetizers.
Overall, I really like this place and I think that the food to money ratio is really good. There are definitely some aspects which could use more touch-ups but overall, their Chinese food is generally good and worth the money and time spent on it. It’ll give your tastebuds feelings of joy and exhilaration.
