On May 30, Bryson Tiller came to Boston and I was lucky enough to get tickets. I was super excited from the moment I woke up that day. I got ready for a long and dreadful day of school. All the excitement had built up during my classes and when I got home, I immediately started getting ready.
I had finished getting ready and my cousin, my sister, her boyfriend, and my girlfriend drove to the MGM Music Hall at Fenway. We were excited, taking pictures and trying to find food. After a long hour, we had no luck in finding food. We decided to eat after and we went inside. Security checked our tickets and we went to our seats. My sister and her boyfriend found a nice seat where nobody was at. It had lots of room and a table. This made us excited for the concert to start.
While waiting, there were lots of opening shows. The main one was a DJ and he was getting the audience hype. Then he slows the music down, thanks us, and then he calls out for Tiller.
Tiller ran out. I expected brighter lights and less dancing since he is more of an R&B artist, but the crowd was jumping, screaming, and singing.
Tiller played lots of good songs, but the order of the songs was not the best. He understood that he had just released his newest album, “Bryson Tiller”. He would play popular songs and then a new or really old song that not that many people knew. Nonetheless, the concert was really fun.
In the middle of the concert, Tiller played one of his newest singles that everyone loves, “Whatever She Wants.” He played a little snippet and said it was too early to sing that song. Most people had forgotten that he said that, but at the end, he walked off the stage and people started leaving.
I moved closer up to the stage and you could slightly hear the beat of his song. The beat starts to slowly get louder. Tiller ran back out and people started jumping and rushing back into the crowd. We were screaming and jumping and ended the concert in a fun and exciting way.
