Beabadoobee’s new album “This is How Tomorrow Moves” is a new leaf for her. It is the sound of her accepting what happened in her past with Soran and her best friend betraying her.
Beabadoobee moved on and she expressed she didn’t want to hurt others but she wanted to have something to process her emotions. She explains in her album about her mental health as a woman and how being a POC affects her self-esteem and how society treats her. She talks and writes about her new boyfriend and how he treats her right.
She appreciates her audience and her band members or anyone in her life. She wrote a song about her bass player Eliana Sewell, how she looks up to her and is inspired to be like Swell. She mixes old music with new sounds having a variety of creativity in expressing herself, is very carefree, and has more individuality than any other artist.
Beabadoobee started very unknown. In 2019 I found out about her, but it wasn’t until around 2022 when “Beatopia” came out that I got really into her music. Beatopia is how a lot of people found out her.
Her career as an artist has been influenced by her emotions, her experiences, and how she looks at the world. The uniqueness of Beabadoobee is how she conveys her emotions with her sound, her voice, and her songwriting.
Her new era of forgiveness made people relate to her. People who listen to Mitski, and Faye Webster should listen to Beabadoobee. From album to album Beabadoobee wants people to relate and music can make someone feel understood.
